The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Maharashtra Alumni Medical Association Web Site designed to foster long term affiliations with persons who are graduates and current Medical students from The State of Maharashtra. We feel that establishing this organization and allowing members to contact fellow Alumni will further the goals of the AAPI-MAMA. We area an approved Association of the AAPI.

The mission of AAPI and AAPI-MAMA is to serve as a forum to facilitate and enable Indian American physicians to excel in patient care, teaching and research, and to pursue their aspirations in professional and community affairs. Headquartered in Chicago, AAPI serves as an umbrella organization for more than 130 member associations nationwide. We also have an office in Washington, DC where AAPI continues to be recognized as a strong voice in the healthcare legislation and policy arena.
